요약
Tethering Hub는 이름·전화번호·이메일처럼 사용자를 직접 식별하는 정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 테더링 사용량, Wi-Fi 정보, 속도 측정 결과 자체는 기기 안에서만 처리되며 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.
다만 광고 표시(Google AdMob), 오류 수집(Firebase Crashlytics), 이용 통계(Google Analytics for Firebase), 속도 측정을 위해 일부 정보가 기기 밖으로 나갑니다. 무엇이 나가는지는 아래 1항에 빠짐없이 적었습니다.
유럽 경제 지역(EEA)·영국·스위스에서는 동의하기 전까지 맞춤형 광고와 이용 통계·오류 수집을 하지 않습니다.
1. 기기 밖으로 나가는 정보
본 앱이 외부로 전송하는 정보는 다음이 전부입니다.
- 광고 식별자·기기 정보: Google AdMob이 광고를 표시하기 위해 수집합니다. 수집 주체는 Google LLC이며 본 앱 개발자는 이 정보를 보관하지 않습니다.
- 오류 보고(Firebase Crashlytics): 앱이 비정상 종료되거나 오류가 났을 때 오류 발생 위치(스택 트레이스), 기기 모델·OS 버전·메모리와 저장공간 여유, 루팅 여부, 앱 버전, 그리고 사용자를 식별하지 않는 임의의 설치 식별자가 전송됩니다. 이름·연락처·테더링 사용량 수치는 포함되지 않습니다.
- 이용 통계(Google Analytics for Firebase): 어떤 화면을 열었는지, 사용 정보 접근 권한을 허용했는지, 데이터 상한을 설정했는지 같은 앱 사용 행동이 전송됩니다. 함께 전송되는 것은 사용자를 식별하지 않는 임의의 앱 인스턴스 식별자, 기기·OS 정보, IP 주소에서 추정한 대략적인 국가·지역입니다. 정확한 위치나 Wi-Fi 이름, 테더링 사용량 수치는 전송하지 않습니다.
- 속도 측정 요청: 응답 지연은 Google(www.google.com), 다운로드 속도는 Cloudflare(speed.cloudflare.com)의 공개 측정 서버에 접속해 잽니다. 이때 통신에 필요한 IP 주소가 해당 서버에 노출되며, 본 앱은 이를 저장하지 않습니다. 속도 체크 화면을 열 때 1회 자동으로 측정하며, 그 뒤로는 측정 버튼을 누를 때만 발생합니다.
2. 기기 안에서만 쓰이는 정보
아래 정보는 화면에 표시하기 위해서만 사용되며, 서버로 전송하거나 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다.
- 테더링 데이터 사용량: 오늘·이번 주·청구 주기별 소비량과 일별 이력
- Wi-Fi 정보: 접속한 네트워크 이름, 주변 네트워크의 채널과 신호 세기
- 블루투스 정보: 페어링된 기기 수와 연결된 기기 수
- 네트워크 상태: 테더링 활성 여부와 실시간 송수신 속도
- 사용자 설정: 데이터 상한, 청구 주기 시작일, 테마, 위젯 배경
3. 권한을 요청하는 이유
- 위치: Android는 주변 Wi-Fi를 검색하거나 접속한 네트워크 이름을 읽을 때 위치 권한을 요구합니다. 본 앱은 이 권한으로 위치를 확인하지 않으며 좌표를 수집·전송하지 않습니다.
- 블루투스: 페어링·연결된 기기 수를 표시하기 위해 사용합니다. 기기 이름이나 주소를 저장하지 않습니다.
- 사용 정보 접근: 테더링으로 소비한 데이터량을 집계하기 위해 필요합니다. 사용자가 시스템 설정에서 직접 허용해야 하며, 언제든 해제할 수 있습니다.
- 알림: 데이터 상한에 근접했을 때 알려주기 위해 사용합니다.
- 네트워크 상태·인터넷: 연결 상태 확인, 속도 측정, 광고 표시, 오류 보고와 이용 통계 전송에 사용합니다.
4. 보관 및 파기
본 앱 개발자는 서버를 운영하지 않습니다. 설정값은 기기 내부 저장소에만 보관되며, 앱을 삭제하면 함께 삭제됩니다.
사용량 이력은 본 앱이 따로 저장하는 것이 아니라 Android가 제공하는 기록을 조회해 보여주는 것입니다. 보관 기간은 운영체제가 정합니다.
오류 보고는 Firebase Crashlytics가 90일간 보관한 뒤 삭제합니다. 이용 통계는 Firebase 콘솔에 설정된 보관 기간이 지나면 삭제됩니다. 광고 식별자는 Google의 개인정보처리방침에 따라 관리됩니다.
5. 이용자의 권리
- 맞춤형 광고 해제: 기기 설정 > Google > 광고에서 광고 맞춤설정을 해제할 수 있습니다. 해제해도 비맞춤형 광고는 계속 표시됩니다.
- 동의 철회(EEA·영국·스위스): 앱 상단의 광고 동의 설정에서 언제든 변경할 수 있습니다. 동의를 철회하면 맞춤형 광고와 함께 이용 통계·오류 수집도 중단됩니다.
- 권한 철회: 위치·블루투스·알림·사용 정보 접근 권한은 시스템 설정에서 언제든 해제할 수 있습니다. 해당 기능만 동작하지 않고 나머지는 그대로 쓸 수 있습니다.
- 삭제: 앱을 삭제하면 기기에 저장된 모든 설정이 즉시 삭제되고, 이후 오류 보고와 이용 통계도 전송되지 않습니다. 이미 전송된 기록의 삭제를 원하시면 아래 연락처로 요청해 주십시오.
6. 유럽 경제 지역(EEA)·영국·스위스 이용자
해당 지역에서는 앱을 처음 실행할 때 Google 인증 동의 관리 플랫폼(UMP)을 통해 동의를 요청합니다. 동의하기 전까지는 맞춤형 광고를 표시하지 않고 이용 통계와 오류 보고도 수집하지 않습니다.
동의 여부는 앱 상단의 광고 동의 설정에서 언제든 변경할 수 있습니다.
열람·정정·삭제·처리 제한·이의 제기 권리를 행사하려면 아래 연락처로 요청해 주시기 바랍니다.
7. 캘리포니아 이용자
본 앱은 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. AdMob을 통한 맞춤형 광고는 CCPA상 정보 공유에 해당할 수 있으며, 기기 설정에서 광고 맞춤설정을 해제하면 중단됩니다.
8. 아동 보호
본 앱은 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며 고의로 아동의 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다.
9. 문의 및 변경

Summary
Tethering Hub does not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, phone number, or email address. Your tethering usage, Wi-Fi details, and speed test results themselves are processed on your device and are not uploaded to a server.
Some information does leave your device, for advertising (Google AdMob), crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics), usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase), and speed tests. Section 1 lists all of it.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, no personalized ads, analytics, or crash reports are collected until you consent.
1. Information sent off your device
This is the complete list of what leaves your device.
- Advertising identifier and device information: collected by Google AdMob to display ads. Google LLC is the collector; the developer of this app does not retain this information.
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): when the app crashes or hits an error, the app sends the location of the failure (stack trace), your device model, OS version, available memory and storage, whether the device is rooted, the app version, and a random installation identifier that does not identify you. No names, contacts, or tethering usage figures are included.
- Usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase): the app sends which screens you open, whether you granted Usage Access, and whether you configured a data cap. Sent alongside are a random app instance identifier that does not identify you, device and OS information, and an approximate country or region derived from your IP address. Your precise location, Wi-Fi network names, and tethering usage figures are not sent.
- Speed test requests: latency is measured against Google (www.google.com) and download speed against Cloudflare (speed.cloudflare.com). Your IP address is visible to those servers as a normal part of the connection. This app does not store it. One measurement runs automatically when you open the speed check screen; after that it happens only when you tap the measure button.
2. Information used only on your device
The following is used solely to display information in the app. It is never uploaded to a server or shared with third parties.
- Tethering data usage: consumption for today, this week, and your billing cycle, plus daily history
- Wi-Fi information: the name of the network you are connected to, and the channel and signal strength of nearby networks
- Bluetooth information: the number of paired and connected devices
- Network state: whether tethering is active, and live upload/download rates
- Your settings: data cap, billing cycle start day, theme, widget background
3. Why each permission is requested
- Location: Android requires location permission to scan for nearby Wi-Fi networks or to read the name of the network you are connected to. This app does not determine your location and does not collect or transmit coordinates.
- Bluetooth: used to show how many devices are paired and connected. Device names and addresses are not stored.
- Usage Access: required to measure how much data your tethering has used. You grant this yourself in system settings and can revoke it at any time.
- Notifications: used to warn you as you approach your data cap.
- Network state and Internet: used for connection status, speed tests, ads, crash reports, and usage analytics.
4. Retention and deletion
The developer of this app does not operate a server. Your settings are stored only in your device's local storage and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Usage history is not stored by this app. It is read from records that Android itself maintains, and the retention period is determined by the operating system.
Crash reports are kept by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days and then deleted. Usage analytics are deleted once the retention period configured in the Firebase console elapses. Advertising identifiers are handled under Google's privacy policy.
5. Your choices
- Opt out of personalized ads: go to Settings > Google > Ads and turn off ad personalization. Non-personalized ads will still appear.
- Withdraw consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): use the ad consent settings at the top of the app at any time. Withdrawing consent stops personalized ads along with usage analytics and crash reporting.
- Revoke permissions: location, Bluetooth, notifications, and Usage Access can be turned off in system settings at any time. Only the related feature stops working; the rest of the app continues to function.
- Delete: uninstalling the app immediately removes all settings stored on your device, and no further crash reports or analytics are sent. To request deletion of records already sent, contact us at the address below.
6. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
In these regions the app asks for your consent on first launch through a Google-certified consent management platform (UMP). Until you consent, no personalized ads are shown and no usage analytics or crash reports are collected.
You can change your choice at any time from the ad consent settings at the top of the app.

7. California residents
This app does not sell personal information. Personalized advertising through AdMob may constitute sharing under the CCPA, and it stops if you turn off ad personalization in your device settings.
8. Children
This app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
